The Father of the Bride<\/em> beauty \u2014 who also starred in the hit TV series Nashville<\/em> and According to Jim<\/em> \u2014 recounts she was speaking at an Alzheimer\u2019s disease benefit in 2022 when her voice suddenly gave out. \u201cIt was embarrassing & scary & it never quite came back,\u201d she wrote on social media. \u201cIt\u2019s been a challenging couple of years, but we finally got to the bottom of it.
