Kelly Osbourne<\/a>, 39, with whom he has two-year-old son Sidney.<\/p>\nHe has been posting videos on his Instagram Stories showing his face being tended to by former reality TV star Kelly, and has now told Fox News Digital about his recovery: \u201c(My) face is basically melted from the nose down. My whole right arm is bandaged up, half of my left arm.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut the swelling\u2019s gone down, and they said the face is kind of amazing that it\u2019s regenerative, it happens real fast, seems to heal quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve had better days, I guess, but I\u2019m alive, so I\u2019m doing good.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSid added the explosion happened when he went outside to check on a wood pile he had been burning on his property.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cI lit it and let it burn down. So, the next day, I went to check it to see, you know, how much was left, if anything. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd there was a certain amount of debris around the side still left, so I, like a dummy, (did) what I\u2019m not supposed to do, but I added some gas to it.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cMy lack of patience got the better of me, and I was like, screw it. I\u2019ll be all right, you know?<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd I squatted down and reached out and lit (the pile), and it just, it was really humid out so there was still a lot of vapours lingering around in there, and it just \u2026 woof. Exploded.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAfter he was burned and hospitalised, Sid was transferred to another hospital in Des Moines where he continued to receive treatment for his burns while his girlfriend remained by his side. <\/p>\n
\nHe said about Kelly: \u201cShe\u2019s been completely invaluable. She\u2019s amazing. Being here and taking care of all that for me, I\u2019m not really sure what I\u2019d be doing if she wasn\u2019t here doing that.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSid also warned fans: \u201cDon\u2019t f*** around with fire. It\u2019s going to win every time.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
