\nThe actor, famed for his roles in the Spanish Netflix drama and movies including \u2018Sicario\u2019, collapsed and had a heart attack on Sunday (25.08.24) at Playa de Zahora beach in C\u00e1diz, Spain, according to The Olive Press.<\/p>\n
\nHe went into cardiac arrest around 5.30pm local time while Juli\u00e1n was on shore, despite initial reports stating that he had drowned, the Spanish outlet reported on Thursday. (29.08.24) <\/p>\n
\nThe actor was said to have been pronounced dead at the scene after paramedics tried to revive him for 30 minutes.<\/p>\n
\nHis death has been confirmed by the Spanish Union of Actors and Actresses, who published an obituary in his honour that said: \u201cOur deepest condolences to his family and friends from the Union of Actors and Actresses. Rest in peace.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJuli\u00e1n starred in six episodes of the first season of teen drama \u2018Elite\u2019, which followed a trio of working-class teens whose grievances with their wealthy classmates led to a murder.<\/p>\n
\nThe actor played the manager of the La Cabana restaurant in six episodes of the hit Spanish-language drama\u2019s first series in 2018, with the show running for eight seasons before it finished in July.<\/p>\n
\nJuli\u00e1n\u2019s other credits included \u2018Cable Girls\u2019, \u2018Caronte\u2019 and \u2018Velvet and The Countryside\u2019, with the actor most recently starring in the Spanish soap opera \u20184 Estrellas\u2019.<\/p>\n
\nHe studied at the drama school Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dram\u00e1tico in Madrid before his acting career took off.<\/p>\n
\nHis death sparked a flood of tributes from fans and actors on social media, including from theatre and screen actress S\u00edlvia Mars\u00f3.<\/p>\n
\nThe 61-year-old said on Instagram alongside a selfie of her with Julian: \u201cI can\u2019t even imagine how these parents, colleagues, so beloved in the profession, are feeling. How horrible.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nActress Helena Lanza said: \u201cJulian, I will always remember you. An empathetic, kind, generous, intelligent, talented being. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cHow I enjoyed watching him on stage and how I loved sharing plans with him. How many talks together and how many laughs we’ve had.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nActress Raquel Guerrero, 48, also paid tribute to Juli\u00e1n, saying online: \u201cA pleasure to have been able to share a bit of this life and be able to enjoy your education, your humility and your work.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
