Brown\/Getty Images)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Adding what she referred to as \u201ccontext to these allegations,\u201d Alves said that she and her ex-husband Edward Rider have been estranged since January 2023 and have \u201cbeen living in separate rooms since that time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur marriage had been struggling for some time, and the separation was a necessary step for both of us.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have always valued my privacy, and it is incredibly painful to have such personal matters thrust into the public eye in a way that has caused harm not only to me but also to Joey, who has been unjustly dragged into this situation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alves said she has even taken out a temporary restraining order against Rider, concluding in her post:<\/p>\n<p><em>l ask for understanding and respect for our privacy as we navigate these difficult circumstances.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This is a deeply private matter that I never intended to become public, and I hope that this clarification can help put an end to the speculation and allow both Joey and myself to move forward without further intrusion.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async defer src=\"https:\/\/platform.instagram.com\/en_US\/embeds.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<br \/><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/08\/melina-alves-breaks-silence-on-alleged-joey-lawrence-affair\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whoa?
