It\u2019s always sad when summer comes to a close. However, on the bright side, Labor Day represents yet another long weekend \u2014 not to mention an opportunity to save on a slew of goods before the holiday shopping season kicks off in earnest. Although Labor Day isn\u2019t until September 2nd, many retailers are already offering steep discounts on a range of tech, some of which rival the Prime Day deals we saw in July.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Right now, for instance, Apple\u2019s last-gen iPad<\/a> is on sale for less than $200. Other Verge<\/em>-approved items have also fallen to an all-time low, including Sonos\u2019 Era 100 speaker<\/a>, Amazon\u2019s latest Echo Spot<\/a>, and the entry-level Kindle<\/a>. Granted, we\u2019ve seen many of these products go for slightly less in the past \u2014 and it\u2019s possible we\u2019ll see even better deals during Amazon\u2019s next Prime Day event<\/a> in October \u2014 but now is a great time to pick up last-minute school supplies or begin chipping away at your wishlist. After all, it rarely hurts to get ahead, even if you\u2019re wallet might say otherwise.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
