\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Pixar<\/strong><\/a> movies have been family favorites for nearly 30 years now.<\/p>\n The animation studio was first founded in 1986 but it really found great success with it\u2019s first feature length film, Toy Story<\/a><\/em>, a collaboration with Disney<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Since then, the studio has produced 28 feature films, many shorts, TV shows and characters have even gone into video games!<\/p>\n A little backstory \u2013 Pixar was first named in 1986 when the late Steve Jobs<\/strong><\/a> purchased Lucasfilm\u2019s Computer Division from George Lucas<\/strong><\/a> and launched it as it\u2019s own independent company.<\/p>\n Pixar then started to collaborate with Disney on CAPS, the Computer Animation Production System.
