Miles Teller<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s wife, Keleigh<\/strong>, got down on one knee in a mock marriage proposal, but instead of popping the question, she gifted him a new boat.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Monday, August 26, Keleigh, 31, posted an Instagram video<\/span><\/a> showing her stunt, which caught Miles, 37, completely off guard.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAn early 5 year wedding anniversary surprise, miles always said it\u2019s not fair men don\u2019t get proposed to so cheesed out and did it for him with his dream boat,\u201d she captioned her post.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After Keleigh kneeled in front of Miles on the grass near a lake,<\/span> a green MasterCraft speedboat could be seen zipping along in the distance \u2014 and heading straight for the dock.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe moment Miles Teller laid eyes on wife Keleigh Teller in May 2013, he immediately was drawn to her. \u201cWe both had mutual friends of the [Black Keys],\u201d the actor told Vogue in September 2019 of the pair\u2019s introduction at a party for the band. \u201cKeleigh had caught my eye early in the night, and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2018\u2019What is going on?\u201d Miles asked as Keleigh and others laughed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Top Gun<\/i> actor pulled her in for a kiss.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides the clip revealing the gift, Keleigh shared a series of snapshots of the pair and pals including Rebecca Rittenhouse<\/strong> enjoying the boat, which was decorated with a \u201chappy 5th anniversary\u201d banner and a big, red bow.<\/span><\/p>\n

Miles and Keleigh have been together a total of 11 years, and first met in\u00a0<\/span>2013 at a party for the band The Black Keys.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cKeleigh had caught my eye early in the night, and we talked,\u201d Miles told Vogue<\/i> in 2019<\/span><\/a>. \u201cI didn\u2019t think it went well, but after a few more attempts, I got her to dance with me, and a week later, we went on a date. After we met, I knew she was The One.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She thought it was, like, an in memoriam kind of thing, and I\u2019m just, like, staring.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
