It would appear that Brittany Mahomes<\/strong> is not liking the comments she\u2019s been getting on social media recently.<\/p>\n The wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes<\/strong> is facing backlash after appearing to \u201clike\u201d and subsequently un-like<\/a> an Instagram post from Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump<\/strong> in recent days. Brittany Mahomes, who is currently pregnant with the couple\u2019s third child, reportedly double-tapped a post from Trump<\/a> outlining the \u201c2024 GOP platform,\u201d including bulletpoints such as \u201ckeep men OUT of women\u2019s sports\u201d and \u201cend the weaponization of government against the American people.\u201d<\/p>\n On Friday, Brittany took to her Instagram Story with a text-only post that didn\u2019t directly reference Trump or what she was biting back against, but addressed \u201chaters.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI mean honestly,\u201d she wrote. \u201cTo be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.\u201d<\/p>\n She has not explicitly endorsed a presidential candidate, and does not currently follow Trump on Instagram.<\/p>\n Husband Patrick Mahomes told Time<\/em> in April<\/a> that he would not speak publicly about his choice in candidates either.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t want to pressure anyone to vote for a certain president,\u201d Patrick said. \u201cI want people to use their voice, whoever they believe in. I want them to do the research.\u201d<\/p>\n Of course, the couple is friends with Taylor Swift<\/strong> via Travis Kelce<\/strong>, Patrick’s Kansas City Chiefs teammate and Swift\u2019s boyfriend. The two couples have been spotted hanging out socially several times, ringing in the new year together, and even celebrating mutual pal Blake Lively<\/strong>\u2019s birthday<\/a> at Swift\u2019s Rhode Island estate over the weekend. The Mahomeses have also been in the audience alongside Kelce at Swift\u2019s Eras Tour, just as Swift and Brittany have taken in several Chiefs games together.<\/p>\n Swift has notably spoken out against Trump<\/a> in the past, endorsing Joe Biden<\/strong> against him in 2020, and leading many to wonder if she\u2019ll do the same for the coming election in support of Kamala Harris<\/strong><\/a>. Recently, Trump shared AI-generated images<\/a> featuring young women in \u201cSwifties for Trump\u201d gear, writing, \u201cI accept!\u201d alongside them on social media, implying that the singer herself supports him. One of the images is specifically and prominently labeled \u201cSATIRE.\u201d Swift has not yet shared a presidential endorsement, nor responded to Trump\u2019s tweets.<\/p>\n A representative for Patrick Mahomes did not immediately respond to Vanity Fair<\/em>\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
