You\u2019d think becoming the most decorated Olympic gymnast in American history would earn an athlete a big break \u2014 but Simone Biles<\/strong><\/a> didn\u2019t become the GOAT by taking days off.<\/p>\n

Biles, 27, is already back in the gym after winning three gold and one silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics<\/a>. The gymnast shared a photo of her \u201cfirst day back\u201d to her Instagram Story on Saturday, August 24. Along with the announcement of her return, Biles added an eyes emoji to the photo of the World Champions Center in suburban Houston.<\/p>\n

Biles has been back in Texas<\/a> for nearly two weeks. On August 12, she shared on Instagram that she was \u201chome\u201d<\/a> and enjoying the sunset of her backyard pool. Biles shared a photo from her bed and wrote that she has \u201cnever been so happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Biles deserved every minute<\/a> of her brief break. In Paris, she won gold in the individual all-around, the balance beam and the vault. Biles shared what was going through her head<\/a> as she landed a Yurchenko double pike vault to seal the win.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe 2024 Paris Olympics have created several picture-perfect moments since kicking off on July 26. Perhaps the most viral snap came during the third round of the men\u2019s surfing competition on July 29. After completing a barrel ride in Teahupo\u2019o, Tahiti, Brazilian surfer Gabriel Medina soared in the air and pointed his finger toward the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cRight now I\u2019m thinking, \u2018Don\u2019t trip, don\u2019t trip,\u201d she shared while watching her final routine back alongside NBC commentators. \u201cOnce I landed on my feet, I was just like, \u2018Oh, my gosh, I just did it!\u2019 I was so excited. I couldn\u2019t believe this moment right here actually.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also placed first in the team all-around, as part of an incredible showing for the women of Team USA. If the women of Team USA were their own country, they would have had the third-highest medal count of any nation \u2014 a fact that Biles lauded on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It hasn\u2019t all been high-fives and hugs since the Olympics ended, however. The controversy around teammate Jordan Chiles<\/strong>\u2018 bronze medal<\/a> in floor exercise has cast Biles in the role of shoulder to cry on<\/a>.<\/p>\n
