Love Island USA<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Daia McGhee<\/strong> has some thoughts about how Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a> handled the show\u2019s recent season 6 reunion.<\/p>\n

After the highly anticipated reunion aired on Monday, August 19, McGhee took to social media to air out some of her grievances. In a fan-captured TikTok live video<\/a>, McGhee recalled a moment during filming where the cast discussed the infamous fire pit scene and debate over whether fellow cast members Leah Kateb<\/strong> or Liv Walker<\/strong> had played a bigger role in the decision that sent home Andrea Carmona<\/strong>, who was paired up with Rob Rausch<\/strong> at the time.<\/p>\n

McGhee claimed that Madix asked the Islanders to raise their hand for who they thought took a backseat in the elimination discussion. According to McGhee, no one raised their hands, prompting Madix to ask again.<\/p>\n

When met with the exact same reaction, McGhee claimed Madix, who\u2019s been featured on Bravo\u2019s Vanderpump Rules<\/em> for 10 seasons, said that she was treated \u201cway worse\u201d on reality TV and told the Islanders they needed to \u201cjust get over it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRespectfully, as a host you don\u2019t say your experience was way worse than what we are going through, because at the end of the day Love Island<\/em>\u2019s numbers did way bigger,\u201d McGhee, who was dumped from the villa on day 24 of the season, said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just feel like as a host of the show it\u2019s your job to not pick favorites,\u201d she continued. \u201cIt\u2019s your job to just be the mediator in the situation. It\u2019s your job to ask the questions that people actually want to see.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following the reunion, some of the cast went to see Madix\u2019s performance in the Broadway \u00a0musical Chicago<\/em>. Serena Page<\/strong>, JaNa Craig<\/strong>, Kaylor Martin<\/strong> and Liv Walker<\/strong> were all in attendance and even snapped a photo<\/a> with the Bravo star in costume. McGhee was not present.<\/p>\n
