Sabrina Carpenter ‘never doubted’ that a career in music was for her<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old pop megastar received a massive career boost when she served as the support act on Taylor Swift<\/a>‘s ‘Eras’ tour and has enjoyed huge success with her summer smash single ‘Espresso’ but admitted that she has always felt that entertainment was the “path” she would take. <\/p>\n

She told Paper magazine: “I don’t know how to describe it. When you’re a child and you just have a feeling of, I know I’m going to do this someday. <\/p>\n

“I know I’m going to do this for the rest of my life. I know this is the path I need to follow, whatever that means for me, and whatever success that means for me is what I’m destined for.”<\/p>\n

The ‘Please Please Please’ songstress started her career as a child when she placed third in The Next Miley Cyrus<\/a> Project in 2009 and, much like the former ‘Hannah Montana’ star, ended up on Disney Channel with a role on the sitcom ‘Girl Meets World’ a few years later. <\/p>\n

\nSabrina began her music career in 2015 and has since released five studio albums, with her sixth record ‘Short n Sweet’ due for release on Friday (23.08.24) but insisted that even during tough times she “never doubted” that this kind of life was meant for her. <\/p>\n

\nShe said: ” I have dreams and goals, and I will say I\u2019m a little bit of a freak manifester sometimes, which is a blessing and a curse depending on how you look at it. I always knew deep down that this was something I would do with my life, and I didn’t ever really doubt that, even when s*** was hitting the ceiling fan.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
