Micah Plath<\/strong><\/a> honored his girlfriend\u2019s wishes to keep her identity a secret \u2014 and off of Welcome to Plathville<\/em><\/a> \u2014 but that all changed during the Tuesday, August 20, episode.<\/p>\n

During the season 6 premiere last month, Micah, 23, revealed he had a girlfriend<\/a>, but only showed a glimpse of her hair and side profile on camera. On Tuesday\u2019s episode, fans got a second peek at the mystery woman when she wished him well ahead of his family<\/a>\u2019s Spartan Race competition in Florida.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy girlfriend would definitely love to come to this race with me, but my family will be posting on social media,\u201d Micah told the cameras. \u201cAnd as far as having a public relationship, you know my girlfriend likes to steer clear of that type of stuff. She would rather keep her peace.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWelcome to Plathville introduced viewers to Barry and Kim Plath and their nine children when the reality show premiered on TLC in November 2019. According to the series description, the couple\u2019s kids \u2014 Ethan, Hosanna, Micah, Moriah, Lydia, Isaac, Amber, Cassia and Mercy \u2014 \u201chave never had a soda, don\u2019t know who Spider-Man or Tom [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As the episode progressed, Micah told viewers that his girlfriend\u2019s name is Veronica Peters<\/strong>, and they were \u201chaving a lot of fun.\u201d In a surprising turn of events, Veronica opted to sit down for an on-camera interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was definitely a point of not contention, but it was definitely something talked about a lot,\u201d Veronica said of her initial choice to stay off the show. \u201cI never was the person that wanted to be in the spotlight. I liked being in the back of the room. I liked being the one listening to everything, the one not involved in everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Veronica explained that since the start of her relationship with Micah she hasn\u2019t wanted to take any photos<\/a> or have their romance shared publicly.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s definitely an insecurity, like, not wanting to be [photographed],\u201d she confessed. \u201cI\u2019d rather have memories in the moment. But to make memories of the family, you sort of have to be on camera at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n

Veronica admitted, \u201cI tried to hide for a while. It didn\u2019t work.\u201d Micah was \u201creally happy\u201d that she changed her mind, saying, \u201cI feel like that kind of takes our relationship to the next level.\u201d<\/p>\n

Micah was in awe of his partner, adding, \u201cI look at you and me as like, we\u2019re basically married. It\u2019s, like, the commitment level that we have together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Veronica agreed that the couple have a \u201cpretty good life\u201d with their three dogs. \u201cI\u2019m thankful for him every day,\u201d she gushed.<\/p>\n
