TLC star Tammy Slaton<\/strong><\/a> is celebrating a major milestone.<\/p>\n

The 1,000-Lb. Sisters<\/em><\/a> star shared a video on Sunday, August 18, revealing that she\u2019s lost 500 pounds<\/a> since 2022.<\/p>\n

\u201cTruly absolutely amazing ladies and I\u2019m happy to call y\u2019all my friends,\u201d Slaton wrote over a TikTok video in which she can be seen posing alongside other \u201cweightloss warriors.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so proud of each and everyone of y\u2019all not only are you beautiful on the inside but your gorgeous on the outside never forget,\u201d Slaton, 38, added over the reshared video.<\/p>\n

Collectively, Slaton and the women in the video shared that they have lost a total of 2,078 pounds.<\/p>\n

Fans were quick to flood the comments section to congratulate Slaton.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so proud of you !! I am proud of you and all your siblings to fight against one of the hardest battles,\u201d one fan wrote. \u201cI am still fighting my battle I have never been a smaller person! you inspired me!\u201d<\/p>\n

Another shared how \u201cproud\u201d they were of Slaton\u2019s continued weight-loss journey. Other commenters referred to the reality star as their \u201cinspiration.\u201d<\/p>\n

In September 2022, Slaton underwent gastric bypass surgery and has been keeping fans updated on her weight loss<\/a> journey ever since.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe process of getting approved for surgery wasn\u2019t easy. I worked my butt off,\u201d she told Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively in February 2023. \u201cI was starving a lot of the time and my hard work paid off.\u201d<\/p>\n

Slaton had to meet her goal weight of 534.7 pounds in order to get approved for the weight-loss surgery. The TLC star has also incorporated exercising into her daily routine.<\/p>\n
