\nThe 20-year-old actress, famed for her role as nursing student Rosaleen Sullivan on the popular Hallmark show \u2018When Calls the Heart\u2019, was hospitalised after she plummeted five storeys to the ground in an accident in May her mother has branded \u201cnegligence\u201d by medical authorities.<\/p>\n
\nMamie\u2019s family have now announced on Facebook she is finally being cared for at home as she continues to recover from the ordeal.<\/p>\n
\nThey shared the news in a post that said: \u201cDreams do come true. Welcome Home Mamie.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nTheir message was accompanied by photos of rainbow balloons that matched a cake laid out to celebrate her getting out of hospital.<\/p>\n
\nThe family also included a snap of a \u2018Home Sweet Home\u2019 sign.<\/p>\n
\nMamie\u2019s family added in the update she is still \u201cseverely injured\u201d, but will now be cared for \u201cprivately\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nThey went on: \u201cShe needed to be at home. So happy for her. She made it this far\u2026 next chapter. It\u2019s a blessing to have her home.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nEarlier this month Mamie delighted her family by taking her first steps\u201d since her near-fatal balcony plunge.<\/p>\n
\nShe was seen in a video uploaded to her Facebook page walking \u2013 alongside the caption: \u201cThank you surgeon\u2019s, thank you prayers, thank you Lord. Mamie has just taken her first steps.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe clip showed the actress flanked by two medical staff as she sat on a hospital bed wearing casts on each leg while surrounded by her family. <\/p>\n
\nMamie celebrated her 20th birthday while recovering in hospital a on 8 July, while a GoFundMe page her family set up to help fund her treatment was pulled in July after it reached nearly $40,000.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
