Olivia Plath<\/strong><\/a> jokes about reclaiming her \u201choe phase\u201d following her divorce from Ethan Plath<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 but she\u2019s not sure she\u2019s doing it right.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I started thinking about dating, I was like, \u2018All right, 25, single for the first time<\/a> in my life, I\u2019m gonna have a hoe phase,\u2019\u201d Olivia, now 26, tells her friend in Us Weekly<\/em>\u2019s exclusive preview of the Tuesday, August 20, episode of Welcome to Plathville<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Olivia, who announced her split from Ethan, 26, in October 2023<\/a>, notes that she \u201cwaited a few months\u201d after her separation before thinking about a new romance.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t hoe very well,\u201d she confesses, teasing, \u201c[I was] a very careful hoe<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n Olivia notes that although the term \u201choe\u201d began as a \u201cnegative thing to shame women for choosing who they want to be intimate with and how often,\u201d she doesn\u2019t \u201cbuy into all of that.\u201d<\/p>\n Instead, the reality star has flipped the meaning to serve her own purposes. \u201cWhen I use [the word], it\u2019s in kind of a reclaiming way,\u201d Olivia tells the cameras. \u201cLike, \u2018This is my body. And I get to decide if I want to go on dates, if I want to spend the night, if I want to be intimate with somebody.\u2019 That\u2019s all my choice<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the clip, Olivia explains that she started dating after moving from Minnesota to Los Angeles.<\/p>\n \u201cThere are people who have moved on sooner than I have<\/a>, and there are people who have taken a lot longer,\u201d she shares. \u201cI just think that it\u2019s a personal, individual thing. There\u2019s not one-size-fits-all, one rule book that we all have to follow.\u201d<\/p>\n Olivia and Ethan were married for five years before parting ways. They officially filed for divorce<\/a> in February, which fans have seen unfold on season 6 of Welcome to Plathville<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n While the breakup feels fresh<\/a> on the TLC series, Olivia has moved on fully from Ethan since they started filming season 6.
