The 36-year-old star has enjoyed success as a dancer, as an actress and as a TV personality – but Julianne ultimately considers herself to be a “storyteller”.<\/p>\n
During an appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen’, Julianne – who is currently promoting her new debut novel, ‘Everything We Never Knew’ – explained: “I think because I do so many different things, I’m a bit confusing. <\/p>\n
“People are like, what does she do? Does she dance? Is she a singer? Is she an actor? What does she do? <\/p>\n
“But I think I’m a storyteller and I think by nature everything that I do is storytelling, whether it’s through my body, or through my voice, or through my acting, and now through my writing.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Julianne recently admitted that she felt insecure during her relationship with Ryan Seacrest.<\/p>\n
\nThe dancer dated Ryan, 49, for three years, but Julianne always feared that people thought she was with the TV star for the wrong reasons.<\/p>\n
\nDuring an appearance on the ‘Armchair Expert’ podcast, Julianne shared: “The rug was swept up from underneath me, and I was just flying, and I was experiencing things that I didn’t even know existed.<\/p>\n
\n“But then I had this insecurity that I was like, ‘I don’t ever want anybody to think that I’m with him for this reason.'”<\/p>\n
\nJulianne dated Ryan between 2010 and 2013, and the dancer admitted to being surprised by the public’s reaction to their break-up.<\/p>\n
\nShe recalled: “I remember when I decided to break things off, I had a lot of these Brentwood moms and producers in that world that were like, \u2018What are you doing?\u2019”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
