Marcus Shoberg<\/strong><\/a> opened up to Jenn Tran<\/strong><\/a> about his complicated family history on The Bachelorette<\/strong><\/a>. During their second one-on-one date, Marcus shared more about his childhood, which led Jenn to give him a rose that secured him a hometown date.<\/p>\n Marcus\u2019 parents are Gerald<\/strong> and Dawn Shoberg<\/strong> from Minnesota. However, it is unclear if these are Marcus\u2019 birth parents or his adoptive parents. Dawn works as a Positive Community Norms Grant Coordinator at a school district in Carlton, Minnesota, according to her LinkedIn.<\/p>\n \u201c[Marcus] does not have a great relationship with his parents,\u201d Reality Steve reported in April 2024. We lived in a foster home together and families would try us on for size and there was a lot of times I thought I was gonna have a mom and dad, and then they would change their mind.
