The \u2018Taxi Driver\u2019 Oscar-winner reached the milestone on Saturday (17.08.24) and his actress and model girl, 56, celebrated the occasion with a gushing statement about how he has supported her over the years.<\/p>\n
She also posted a snap of Robert in red-and-white striped swim shorts jumping off a boat into the sea on a recent vacation \u2013 along with a video of him diving into the water as she said: \u201cWoah, he\u2019s so crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Drena could then be heard asking the Hollywood icon in the clip: \u201cOh my god, are you alright?\u201d \u2013 with Robert replying: \u201cYeah, I\u2019m okay.\u201d<\/p>\n
She was then heard saying \u201cs***\u201d when someone told her Robert had jumped about 30 feet into the water.<\/p>\n
\nDrena also paid tribute to her famous dad by sharing throwback photos of him feeding a bottle of milk to her late son Leandro De Niro-Rodriguez when he was a toddler and of the grandfather-grandson pair smiling together.<\/p>\n
\nAlongside a final picture in her birthday tribute carousel of Robert with two of his grandchildren on a beach she said: \u201cHappy 81st Bday to my Dad and #1 ride or die .. Love you with all my (three heart emojis) #BobbyD forever (star, crown and star emojis.)\u201d<\/p>\n
\nDrena\u2019s boy Leandro was 19 when he died in July from the toxic effects of a drug combination that included fentanyl, bromazolam, alprazolam, 7-aminoclonazepam, ketamine and cocaine.<\/p>\n
\nThe New York City\u2019s medical examiner ruled his death accidental, and Drena later said on Instagram \u201csomeone sold him fentanyl laced pills\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nLeandro was an occasional actor who appeared in the 2018 movie \u2018A Star Is Born\u2019 and was found dead in an apartment in the Wall Street neighbourhood of Lower Manhattan. <\/p>\n
\nRobert said at the time that he was \u201cdeeply distressed by the passing of my beloved grandson Leo\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
