Back to it. After taking a brief hiatus from her frequent workouts, Allison Holker<\/strong><\/a> is resuming her training.<\/p>\n \u201cAlright guys, it\u2019s my first day back in the gym<\/a>. I haven\u2019t been here in quite some time,\u201d the\u00a0Dancing With the Stars<\/a>\u00a0<\/i>alum, 35, said in a candid Instagram Story video on Tuesday, April 4. \u201c[I\u2019m] really excited about it, but also very nervous. It\u2019s a little intimidating when you haven\u2019t been working out to get back into everything<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n She added: \u201cI thought I\u2019d bring you guys on this journey because it\u2019s going to take me a second to get back to where I was, but I think it will be something I need for my body physically, spiritually, mentally. I know it\u2019s going to be really healthy for me to do this.\u201d<\/p>\n While Holker did not specifically address why she had taken a fitness hiatus, her break came less than four months after her husband, Stephen \u201ctWitch\u201d Boss<\/a>, died by suicide at the age of 40<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,\u201d the HGTV host, who married Boss in 2013, said in a December 2022 statement<\/a> after\u00a0Us Weekly\u00a0<\/i>confirmed his passing. \u201cStephen lit up every room he stepped into<\/a>. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.\u201d<\/p>\n Holker and Boss, who initially met while working as all-stars mentors on\u00a0So You Think You Can Dance<\/i><\/a>, shared three children: Weslie, 14, Maddox, 7, and Zaia, 3<\/a>. (The late\u00a0Ellen DeGeneres Show\u00a0<\/i><\/a>DJ adopted Weslie<\/a>, Holker\u2019s daughter from a previous relationship, after their nuptials.)<\/p>\n Prior to Boss\u2019 death, he and Holker frequently shared their joint dance workouts on social media<\/a> under the moniker \u201cBoss Fam Workout.\u201d The twosome\u2019s final dance video was posted via Instagram<\/a> on December 11, 2022, two days before the\u00a0Real Dirty Dancing\u00a0<\/i>host\u2019s death. While Holker, for her part, has not shared another dance video since her loss, she returned to social media earlier this year<\/a>, revealing how she\u2019s found solace in her three children.<\/p>\n \u201cMy loves we are stronger than you could ever imagine,\u201d the Minnesota native penned an Instagram note<\/a> to Weslie, Maddox and Zaia last month. \u201cAnd we will stand strong together as a unit, and find the courage to hold each other up. I will be here for you every step of the way<\/a> through the highs and lows, the ups and the downs. I will protect and I will guide, I will be a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, I will have mom jokes ready for when you need a good laugh. The love and light inside our hearts will still shine.
