\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n A director behind the Despicable Me<\/strong><\/a><\/em> franchise opened up about creating live-action adaptations of the animated movies. <\/p>\n Chris Renaud<\/strong> directed the first two movies in the series and returned for the recently released Despicable Me 4<\/em>.<\/p>\n In a new interview, Chris<\/strong> was asked if there were any conversations about following in the footsteps of Disney and turning the franchise into live-action movies. Doing so would entail creating \u201creal\u201d Minions. <\/p>\n Is that a possibility?<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cGod, I hope not. That\u2019s my answer,\u201d Chris<\/strong> told Film Hounds<\/a>.<\/p>\n He continued, saying, \u201cI mean if there were conversations like that, I haven\u2019t been privy to them. But for me, what defines the world is that it is animated and it allows us to get away with what we get away with. Like locking a minion in the vending machine, or you know, blowing up Gru when he attacks Vector. These are really cartoon ideas, like what would have been in a Bugs Bunny cartoon.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt just becomes something completely different if you do a live-action version,\u201d Chris<\/strong> opined. \u201cFor me personally, not very appealing.
