\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Jonathan Bailey<\/strong><\/a> and Matt Bomer<\/strong><\/a> pose for photos while attending the Fellow Travelers| SAG Screening Event<\/em><\/strong> held at The Whitby Hotel on Friday (August 16) in New York City.<\/p>\n The Fellow Travelers<\/strong><\/a><\/em> co-stars are currently in the city attending multiple events and doing interviews to promote the show and their 2024 Emmy Awards<\/em> nominations<\/a>.<\/p>\n At the event, Jonathan<\/strong> and Matt<\/strong> were seen drinking glasses of milk, a notable reference to the line, \u201cShut up and drink your milk,\u201d that Matt<\/strong>\u2018s character tells Jonathan<\/strong>\u2018s in the Showtime series.<\/p>\n This line also led Jonathan <\/strong>to create a t-shirt for a charity campaign with The Shameless Fund<\/a>, and in a recent interview, he opened up about how the campaign came about from that line.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI went to present an award for Matt<\/strong> at the [Human Rights Campaign] in Washington, and being in the room with people who were just so galvanized \u2014 it was my first American gala, and I was infected by the energy. I had this idea of a T-shirt, and it occurred to me that it should be about the spilling of the milk,\u201d he told THR<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI think we had four scripts before we started, and there was one version of a sex scene, which I\u2019ll leave to Ron Nyswaner<\/strong> to reveal at some point in the future, which was wild, and then when I saw that it moved to the milk,\u201d he continued, \u201cI just thought, this is such an incredible moment of the exploration of power within sex and intimacy. \u2018Shut up and drink your milk.\u2019 It feels to me like an incredibly political line, somehow.\u201d<\/p>\n Last month, Jonathan<\/strong>\u2018s Heartstopper<\/em> co-star Joe Locke<\/strong> was seen wearing the t-shirt<\/a>!<\/p>\n The day before, Jonathan<\/strong> and Matt <\/strong>attended another event.
