Christina Aguilera<\/strong><\/a> sparked rumors that she had been taking the popular weight loss drug Ozempic<\/a> when she showed off her toned figure during a concert in Mexico in May. However, in a recent interview, the Burlesque<\/em> star let the whispers roll right off her back.<\/p>\n \u201cI have a maturity now where I just don\u2019t give a f\u2013k about your opinion,\u201d Christina, 43, told Glamour<\/em><\/a> in an interview published on Thursday, August 15. \u201cI\u2019m not going to take it on. It must be your responsibility to take up your space. Other people\u2019s opinions of me are not my business.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cCome on Over\u201d artist also said that this was a mindset that she wanted to instill in her two children, Max, 16, and Summer, 10.<\/p>\n \u201cYour kids trigger things in you that you don\u2019t want them to go through,\u201d Christina said. \u201cAnd it\u2019s almost like you\u2019re reliving this whole thing again.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cGenie in a Bottle\u201d singer admitted that the obsession with her weight<\/a> and \u201chow skinny [she] was\u201d affected her in a painful way as a teenager.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you\u2019re a teenager, you have a very different body than when you\u2019re in your 20s,\u201d Christina explained. \u201cI started to fill out, and then that was unacceptable because it was like, \u2018Oh, she\u2019s getting thicker.\u2019 Then I had industry people: \u2018They liked your body and how you were as a skinny teenager.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Christina is just one of several celebrities who have been accused of turning to weight loss drugs<\/a> like Ozempic, Mounjaro and Wegovy. When a video of Christina performing in May surfaced on TikTok<\/a>, fans raved about her tiny frame, but they also assumed that she had pharmaceutical help to drop the weight.<\/p>\n \u201cBest ozempic result to date!\u201d one fan wrote, while another added, \u201cNow I want Ozempic, she looks fab.\u201d<\/p>\n While the Grammy winner has never officially denied using weight loss drugs, Christina has discussed what nutrition plans have worked for her in the past. After she gave birth to her son in 2008, Christina shed a whopping 40 pounds<\/a> by following the Rainbow Diet and restricting her calories to just 1,600 per day.<\/p>\n Dr. Deanna Minich<\/strong>, who created the Rainbow Diet, described it as a \u201cnew approach to food.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe Rainbow Diet is a comprehensive holistic health guide that helps you to understand the physical and energetic properties of foods through their colors,\u201d an explanation on Dr. Minich\u2019s website<\/a> reads. \u201cEvery food and nutrient has a \u2018color code\u2019\u2014you take a questionnaire, figure out which color you need, and the color syncs with different nutrients.\u201d<\/p>\n In 2014, Christina\u2019s trainer, Tee Sorge,<\/strong> gave In Touch<\/em><\/a> a look into what a normal gym session for the former coach on The Voice<\/em><\/a> was like.<\/p>\n \u201cWe work the entire upper body by doing everything from bicep curls to tricep dips,\u201d Tee said. \u201cChristina does three sets of each exercise and uses weights ranging from five to 15 pounds.\u201d<\/p>\n By 2020, Christina said that she was done with dieting. Instead, the \u201cI Turn to You\u201d songstress opted to focus on clean eating and avoiding sugary snacks.
