Detective Lois Tryon (Nash-Betts) feels these crimes are eerily personal, as if someone \u2014 or something \u2014 is taunting her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ok, ok \u2013 an ominous vibe to be sure. But nothing we haven\u2019t heard of before.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Then there\u2019s a tease about a \u201cstrained relationship with her daughter\u201d and some \u201cinner demons\u201d she needs to contend with. Again, par for the course.<\/p>\n<p>But then, things take a hard left turn:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith no leads and unsure of where to turn, she accepts the help of Sister Megan (Micaela Diamond), a nun and journalist with the Catholic Guardian. Sister Megan, with her own difficult past, has seen the worst of humanity, yet she still believes in its capacity for good. Lois, on the other hand, fears the world is succumbing to evil. Well, not even FX is spoiling that one just yet.<\/p>\n<p>In the press release, announcing the cast and characters, this is how he\u2019s listed:<\/p>\n<p>The series stars Niecy Nash-Betts as \u201cDetective Lois Tryon,\u201d Courtney B. Vance as \u201cMarshall Tryon,\u201d Lesley Manville as \u201cNurse Redd,\u201d Micaela Diamond as \u201cSister Megan,\u201d Nicholas Alexander Chavez as \u201cFather Charlie,\u201d Raven Goodwin as \u201cMerritt Tryon\u201d and Travis Kelce.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s it!
