Deadpool & Wolverine<\/em><\/a> narrowly missed out on another X-cellent cameo.<\/p>\n

Halle Berry<\/strong><\/a> revealed in an interview with ComicBook<\/a> that Blake Lively<\/strong><\/a> once approached her about reprising her role as X-Men<\/em> favorite Storm (a.k.a. Ororo Munroe) but Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds<\/strong><\/a>, didn\u2019t follow up with her. (Reynolds also cowrote and coproduced the movie.)<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d Berry, 58, responded when asked if she was ever in talks to join the Marvel movie\u2019s list of cameos.<\/p>\n

\u201cBlake asked me one time,\u201d Berry told ComicBook at the premiere of her new Netflix movie<\/a>, The Union<\/em>, on Monday, August 12. \u201cI ran into her at a Marc Jacobs<\/strong> fashion show, and she said, \u2018Would you ever be in my husband\u2019s movie as Storm?\u2019 I said, \u2018Yeah, if he asked me,\u2019 but he never asked me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Berry played Storm in several X-Men<\/em> movies alongside Hugh Jackman<\/strong><\/a>, who reprises his role as Wolverine in the new Marvel blockbuster.<\/p>\n

The movie serves as something of a love letter to 20th Century Fox\u2019s Marvel movies released between 2000 and 2019 \u2014 beginning with X-Men<\/em> \u2014 and features cameos from other superheroes from the pre-Marvel Cinematic Universe era.<\/p>\n

Chris Evans<\/strong> reprises<\/a> his role as Johnny Storm\/Human Torch from Fox\u2019s 2005 Fantastic Four<\/em> movie, Jennifer Garner<\/strong><\/a> reprises her role as Elektra from Daredevil<\/em>, Wesley Snipes<\/strong> appears as Blade, and Dafne Keen<\/strong> appears as Laura\/X-23 from Logan<\/em>. Channing Tatum<\/strong> also makes a cameo as X-Men<\/em> character Gambit, who he had long been attached to play in a movie before Disney acquired Fox and scrapped the project.<\/p>\n
