<\/p>\n Ryan Reynolds<\/strong><\/a> couldn\u2019t handle the heat.<\/p>\n Hot Ones<\/em> host Sean Evans<\/strong><\/a> revealed that Reynolds, 47, told him he had been \u201cavoiding\u201d the famous culinary talk show until he finally said yes to appearing alongside his Deadpool & Wolverine<\/em> costar, Hugh Jackman<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Appearing on the Wednesday, August 14, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em><\/a>, Evans, 38, shared what it was like filming the July 2024 episode with Reynolds and Jackman, 55. Evans said he knew it \u201cwould be good\u201d because of a chance encounter with the Deadpool actor before the shoot got underway.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m walking around just looking for a bathroom \u2026 All of a sudden, behind me, I hear, \u2018I\u2019ve been avoiding this mother-effer for years.\u2019 And I turn around, it\u2019s just Ryan Reynolds walking towards me with a big smile on his face,\u201d said Evans. \u201cFrom that moment I knew it\u2019d be a good episode.\u201d<\/p>\n Reynolds and Jackman appeared on the July 25 episode of Hot Ones<\/em><\/a>, eating chicken wings slathered in increasingly spicier hot sauces. During the episode, Reynolds revealed his wild \u2014 and ultimately scrapped \u2014 idea to shoot and market Deadpool & Wolverine<\/em><\/a> under a fake name.<\/p>\n \u201cThe original idea with this movie was to shoot a fake movie called Alpha Cop<\/em> that was intentionally bad,\u201d he said. \u201cIt was about two guys that were sharing one brain and together they make the perfect cop. And the poster says, \u2018Alpha Cop<\/em>: two cops, one brain, all balls.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
