Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a> is finally speaking out about her ex Tom Sandoval<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s lawsuit against her.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> broke the news in July that Sandoval, 41, had filed a suit against Madix<\/a>, accusing the Love Island USA<\/em> host of accessing explicit videos of Rachel \u201cRaquel\u201d Leviss<\/strong><\/a> on his cell phone without his \u201cauthorization or permission.\u201d Sandoval had the suit withdrawn two days later and fired his attorney, Matt Geragos<\/strong>, claiming that he did not intend to sue Madix, 39.<\/p>\n

Appearing on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em><\/a> on Tuesday, August 13, Madix was asked by host Andy Cohen<\/strong> whether she believes Sandoval\u2019s version of events. Madix initially shrugged.<\/p>\n

Cohen pressed further, \u201cWhat was your reaction when you saw that? You must have been quite furious.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a really bad day,\u201d Madix diplomatically responded, but made no further comment.<\/p>\n

In a lawsuit<\/a> obtained by Us <\/em>on July 16, Sandoval claimed Madix \u201cobtained access\u201d to his phone on March 1, 2023, and reviewed videos of Leviss. Sandoval\u2019s filing further alleged that Madix \u201cmade copies\u201d of a video and distributed it to \u201cLeviss and third parties\u201d without his permission.<\/p>\n

Sandoval filed the lawsuit in response to Leviss\u2019 own suit against him and Madix<\/a> filed in February. Leviss accused the exes of revenge porn, eavesdropping invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.<\/p>\n

Madix\u2019s attorney, Jordan Susman<\/strong>, responded to Sandoval\u2019s suit in a statement to Us<\/em>, saying, \u201cIt is abhorrent that Tom Sandoval continues to torment Ms. Madix. From engaging in an illicit affair that shattered her home and stability, to months of emotional warfare and now this attempt to further shirk personal responsibility for the effects his actions have had on her and her emotional wellbeing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement continued: \u201cTom Sandoval knows full well what sort of privileges he and Ms. Madix shared in regard to their personal communication devices. If he or his mistress had their way, it would be illegal for someone to discover their spouse or significant other was having an affair.\u201d<\/p>\n

After news of the lawsuit broke, Sandoval said in a statement<\/a> via Instagram on July 18 that he did not fully understand the implications of the suit.<\/p>\n

\u201cLate Tuesday afternoon, my attorney, Matt Geragos, whose advice I trusted, called me about the Cross-Complaint in the lawsuit against myself and Ariana,\u201d he wrote. \u201cHe assured me that the action was customary and strictly preventative in these types of lawsuits and urged me to agree to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandoval continued, \u201cThe words \u2018New Lawsuit\u2019 or \u2018Suing\u2019 were not articulated to me. I should\u2019ve done more of my due diligence on the matter.\u201d<\/p>\n
