The reality TV star, 27, had daughter Stormi, six, when she was only 19, followed by son Aire, two \u2013 both of whom she shares with her 33-year-old rapper ex Travis Scott \u2013 and has now opened up about the devastating impact of early motherhood.<\/p>\n

Make-up mogul Kylie, now dating actor Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a>, 28, told British Vogue: \u201cStormi wasn\u2019t planned. It happened, but obviously I knew that I wanted to have her. I wanted children so bad.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was 19 when I got pregnant, 20 when I had her… it was wild… looking back at it, I give myself more empathy and grace. But when I was a teenager, even my family were like: \u2018You aren\u2019t that young.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cI think maybe I carried myself (in a certain way), or I\u2019d already been working for 10 years. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cIt didn\u2019t hit me (right away.) But it was a huge life change. <\/p>\n

\n\u201c(Postpartum depression from Stormi) lasted a year.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nKylie added she suffered the same form of the blues after Aire\u2019s birth, saying it lasted \u201caround the same length of time\u201d. <\/p>\n

\nShe went on about how she is optimistic about her future: \u201cI\u2019m going to be 27, and I\u2019m finally feeling like myself again, and (in hindsight) I think, being pregnant, I wore sweatpants every day, I didn\u2019t have time to figure out even some of the little things in my life, and then postpartum lasted a year. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cMentally, it\u2019s really hard. Hormonally, it\u2019s really hard. I didn\u2019t know how to dress.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nKylie added about the upside of being a mum: \u201cNo matter what I\u2019m going through or what I look like or what the internet writes about me that day. I come home and my kids just love me unconditionally.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cThey\u2019re just obsessed with me and that\u2019s taught me to walk through life a little easier. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018OK, well I have these little humans at home that need me and love me and think I\u2019m the most perfect person in the world, so I don\u2019t really need validation from outside sources\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
