Melissa Rivers<\/strong> thinks there were a lot of hits and some misses when it comes to fashion at the 2024 Olympics<\/a>, and she exclusively tells Life & Style<\/em> which celebrities stood out during the event.<\/p>\n \u201cThe women \u2014 especially, I think, because it\u2019s Paris, have totally stepped it up,\u2019 Melissa, 56, tells Life & Style<\/em> while discussing the fashion at the Paris Olympics, which concluded on August 11. \u201cEverything from like Serena [Williams]<\/strong><\/a> and the all red Dolce and Gabbana and then you have Emma Chamberlain<\/strong>, who I loved.\u201d<\/p>\n After applauding Serena\u2019s red dress that featured tulle lining and sheer long sleeves <\/span><\/a>and Emma\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>Ralph Lauren Team USA ensemble, she adds that <\/span>Tom Cruise<\/b> rocked a \u201csummer city chic\u201d<\/span><\/a> look that included a white shirt that had a \u201ccool texture\u201d and black pants.<\/p>\n \u201cI think we\u2019ve seen a lot of the women, especially, having fun being in Paris,\u201d Melissa says.<\/p>\n Melissa explains that it seemed like everyone was \u201chaving fun\u201d with their ensembles. \u201cI thought Nina Dobrev<\/strong> hit it out of the park for combining the USA [colors] and still looking cute and normal,\u201d she continued. \u201cJessica Chastain<\/strong> [also had] all had those cute sweaters. So I\u2019m loving seeing the sort of team spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n However, Melissa says that nobody did Olympics style better than Snoop Dogg<\/strong><\/a>. While Snoop, 52, wore several memorable outfits during the games, Melissa says that \u201call the personalized T-shirts for the athletes\u201d stood out for her. \u201cAnd then, obviously, the twinning with Martha [Stewart] all dressed up\u201d for the equestrian competition.<\/p>\n \u201cEven his bathing cap when he was swimming with Michael [Phelps]<\/strong> felt he is absolutely living his best life,\u201d Melissa continues about the \u201cDrop It Like It\u2019s Hot\u201d rapper.<\/p>\n While many people were not expecting Snoop to be one of the best dressed stars at the Olympics, Melissa says she is \u201cnot surprised\u201d that he put so much effort into his looks. \u201cFirst of all, what I am surprised about is [that] he has become a national beloved icon. And he\u2019s doing such a good job,\u201d she says. \u201cI mean, talk about someone embodying the spirit and sort of, I feel like, dragging all of us along with him. And he\u2019s just, for me \u2026 I mean he\u2019s just nailed it.\u201d<\/p>\n Not only did Snoop make a memorable impression for fans around the world, but Melissa says there were several other celebs that had \u201cfun\u201d with their fashion choices. \u201cSarah Jessica Parker<\/strong> had the pearls and the fun with fashion,\u201d she points out.<\/p>\n \u201cBut also what\u2019s really, I find, making it is all these celebrities with their kids<\/span><\/a>,\u201d she continues, pointing out that <\/span>several stars made the Olympics a family friendly experience<\/span><\/a> for their kids. \u201cEveryone looks like they\u2019re so lighthearted and so into it and having such a joyous experience. And I find fashion tracks that.\u201d<\/p>\n Melissa concludes that she didn\u2019t see anyone \u201csitting there all in black\u201d and \u201ctrying to look chic.\u201d She adds, \u201cEveryone\u2019s just leaning in and having for the most part and what appears to be a great time.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
