Halle Berry<\/strong><\/a> is addressing what could have been.<\/p>\n

The Oscar winner, 57, was announced last month as costarring alongside Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> and Glenn Close<\/strong> in All\u2019s Fair<\/em>, a new legal drama from Ryan Murphy<\/strong>,\u00a0but exited the series a week after her casting was announced. (Berry had a scheduling conflict with another project, per The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Now, Berry tells Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a>, \u201cYou know, things happen for a reason.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI would have loved to have been there with those ladies, and I know it\u2019s gonna be great,\u201d she said at the Los Angeles premiere of her latest movie, The Union<\/em>, on Monday, August 12.<\/p>\n

\u201c[It\u2019s] Ryan Murphy! I mean, you know, duh, but next time,\u201d the Monster\u2019s Ball<\/em> actress added.<\/p>\n

Berry, Kardashian and Close were announced as the stars and executive producers of Hulu drama All\u2019s Fair<\/em> in July<\/a>. The show is said to revolve around an all-woman law firm in Los Angeles, with Kardashian, 43, playing a top divorce lawyer.<\/p>\n

Kardashian and Close are still attached to the project and will be joined by Sarah Paulson<\/strong>, Niecy Nash<\/strong>, Naomi Watts<\/strong> and Teyana Taylor<\/strong>, Deadline<\/a> reported on August 6. Nash and Watts will also serve as executive producers.<\/p>\n

The drama marks Kardashian\u2019s latest acting project with Murphy after starring on the latest season<\/a> of FX\u2019s American Horror Story<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In addition to All\u2019s Fair<\/em>, Kardashian is set to star in and executive produce an original movie for Netflix. \u201cKim Kardashian is about to be The Fifth Wheel,\u201d Netflix wrote in an announcement via X<\/a> in November 2023, adding that Kardashian will coproduce and star alongside producer and writer Paula Pell<\/strong> and writer Janine Brito<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Deadline was the first to reveal the news earlier in November. The outlet reported that the Skims founder had a hands-on role in pitching the comedy and appeared at every meeting.<\/p>\n
