One of the guys! Travis Kelce\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> friend Baron Corbin<\/strong> recalled meeting Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> at a Kansas City Chiefs game and had nothing but kind words to say about the superstar.<\/p>\n Baron, 39, a professional wrestler whose real name is Thomas Prescott, explained that Travis, 34, had invited him to Arrowhead Stadium watch a game.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s just a friend so you don\u2019t think, \u2018Hey, is Taylor going to be there?\u2019 You don\u2019t want to ask or anything like that,\u201d Baron said during an interview at the media day for WWE Summerslam<\/a> on August 2. \u201cI just assumed she wouldn\u2019t be.\u201d<\/p>\n The former Indianapolis Colts player continued, \u201cThe next thing you know, my brother is like, \u2018Uh, Taylor Swift just walked into the room.\u2019 It was cool because she\u2019s just like, obviously, one of the biggest stars on the planet. When you meet her she\u2019s so nice, so down to earth. If you lived under a rock and had no idea who Taylor Swift was, you would just think she\u2019s an awesome person.\u201d<\/p>\n Baron described the \u201cI Can Do It With a Broken Heart\u201d singer as \u201cwelcoming\u201d and said that \u201cas soon as she meets you, she gives you a hug.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s there to have fun and have a good time and have a drink,\u201d Baron told the interviewer. \u201cShe can hang with the boys. It\u2019s rare to find someone like that on that level of stardom be so humble and so cool that you would never know. Other than the fact that she\u2019s important and does something, and you had no idea, but she\u2019s so nice that you would never expect that level of an icon.\u201d<\/p>\n Baron isn\u2019t the first of the NFL star\u2019s friends to praise Taylor, 34. In June, Travis\u2019 good friend and barber, Patrick Regan<\/strong>, had nothing but good things to say about the Grammy winner<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201c[Taylor\u2019s] very interested in what you\u2019re saying and she doesn\u2019t act like the most famous person in the world. She\u2019s a very nice person and she\u2019s a good girlfriend to my friend, so it\u2019s pretty cool,\u201d Patrick said during the June 3 episode of the \u201cYour Day Off<\/a>\u201d podcast. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t seem too crazy to me.\u201d<\/p>\n Patrick said that while \u201cthings had changed\u201d for Travis, it was something he thought was \u201ccool to see.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cTravis is one of my bros, so I used to just go sleep at his house every weekend,\u201d the barber said. \u201cSo, things have changed a little bit now, but it\u2019s cool to see. I\u2019m happy for him and happy to see the stardom he\u2019s getting.\u201d<\/p>\n Patrick also said that Taylor was \u201creally into the [Chiefs] games\u201d and was a \u201cfootball fan now,\u201d which he said was \u201creally cool.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cYour Day Off\u201d host jokingly asked Patrick if he knew when Travis and the Miss Americana<\/em> star would officially tie the knot<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cHopefully soon. That would be fun,\u201d Patrick replied.<\/p>\n The Super Bowl champ and Taylor have been spending as much time together as they could over the summer while Travis had a break before the upcoming NFL season. However, the two had to say their goodbyes for the next few weeks<\/a> as Travis gets back into training and Taylor finishes up the European leg of the Eras tour.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
