BLACKPINK star Lisa feels more confident than ever<\/p>\n
\nThe 27-year-old singer – who is a member of the South Korean girl group – has admitted that she struggles to express herself, although she’s recently become more confident to say what she’s thinking “out loud”.<\/p>\n
\nShe told ELLE: “To be honest, I\u2019m not the type who\u2019s really good at expressing my feelings. <\/p>\n
\n“Lately, I feel more confident of what I think, and say it out loud.”<\/p>\n
\nLisa is currently preparing to release new solo material, and she’s happily taken more creative control of her new songs.<\/p>\n
\nThe chart-topping star also suggested that she’s become much more decisive in recent times.<\/p>\n
\nLisa – who released her debut album, ‘Lalisa’, back in 2021 – shared: “I think what I\u2019ve learned from last time is me, myself, saying what I like and what I don\u2019t like.<\/p>\n
\n“I think that\u2019s the most important. Because if I say, \u2018Ah, it\u2019s okay,\u2019 [people] don\u2019t know – like, am I really okay with it? So I have to be able to say \u2018yes\u2019 or \u2018no.\u2019 Not in between.”<\/p>\n
\nDespite this, Lisa feels proud of what she’s managed to achieve with BLACKPINK.<\/p>\n
\nThe singer also loves sharing her success with her bandmates.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “When I\u2019m onstage [with BLACKPINK], I share my energy with my members. If she gives 100, I\u2019ll give 120. We can feel each other. And I love that energy.”<\/p>\n
\nLisa is currently focused on her solo material, but she also remains committed to the girl group.<\/p>\n
\nShe explained: “Of course we\u2019re continuing, for sure.<\/p>\n
\n“We\u2019re so proud of BLACKPINK, and I love BLACKPINK. It is not just because of our fans, it\u2019s for ourselves. There was no doubt. This is our life.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
