Kate Middleton<\/strong> and Prince William<\/strong> weren\u2019t in the stands for any of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, but on Sunday they sent out a message proving that they were following along at home. During the Paris closing ceremonies, the Prince and Princess of Wales tweeted out a video that showed a clip of them congratulating the athletes of Team Great Britain alongside video messages from celebrities including Snoop Dogg<\/strong> and David Beckham.<\/strong> Filmed in their Norfolk yard, their cameo featured William with a very uncharacteristic beard, while Kate wore a familiar Breton striped shirt.<\/p>\n This content can also be viewed on the site it originates<\/a> from.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n \u201cFrom all of us watching at home, congratulations to Team GB,\u201d Kate said.<\/p>\n \u201cWell done on all you\u2019ve achieved,\u201d continued William. \u201cYou\u2019ve been an inspiration to us all.\u201d<\/p>\n William\u2019s choice of facial hair might have something to do with the fact that he and his family, including children Prince George, Princess Charlotte,<\/strong> and Prince Louis,<\/strong> are on summer break at their country home in Norfolk. Though William and Kate didn\u2019t make it across the channel to see Team GB in action, they did send a message<\/a> congratulating Britain’s Equestrian Eventing team and mountain biker Tom Pidcock<\/strong> when they won the nation\u2019s first gold medals on July 29.<\/p>\n The video concluded with a comment from Snoop on behalf of himself, William, and Kate. \u201cThank you Great Britain, on behalf of big Snoop Dogg, the prince, and his lovely wife,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The video also included British notables including athletes Dame Kelly Holmes, Sir Chris Hoy,<\/strong> and Rebecca Adlington,<\/strong> along\u00a0 with broadcasters Gabby Logan<\/strong> and Clare Balding.<\/strong> Though Snoop Dogg is an unusual addition to that list, his connection to William goes way back.
