\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Miley Cyrus<\/strong><\/a> hits the stage in a suit while being honored as a Disney Legend<\/em><\/strong> on Sunday (August 11) at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.<\/p>\n The 31-year-old entertainer was one of this year\u2019s 14 honorees, being recognized for her contributions to the Walt Disney Company over the years as a performer and leaving her mark on the company\u2019s legacy. She made history as she is the youngest person to ever receive the Disney Legend honor!<\/p>\n Miley<\/strong> was joined by her mom Tish<\/strong><\/a> and sister Brandi<\/strong><\/a> at the event.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Country music star and actress Lainey Wilson<\/strong><\/a> performed the Hannah Montana<\/em> theme song \u201cBest of Both Worlds\u201d while helping present Miley<\/strong> with the honor.<\/p>\n A tribute video was also played, featuring messages from John Travolta<\/strong><\/a>, Chappell Roan<\/strong><\/a> and Bret Michaels<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n While on stage accepting the honor, Miley<\/strong> teared up while looking back on the early days in her career.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m gonna let everybody get on a little Disney Legend secret. I\u2019m the one that tells you what you\u2019re not supposed to know. And what I want to say, is that legends get scared, too. I\u2019m scared right now, but the difference is we do it anyway, and all of you can do that every single day. It\u2019s legendary to be afraid and do it anyway. There is no such thing as failure when you try,\u201d she said while wiping her tears.<\/p>\n \u201cIn 2005, Disney was on a mission to rebuild the company.
