Elle King<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about her relationship with dad Rob Schneider<\/strong><\/a> and some his recent comments.<\/p>\n The 35-year-old singer made an appearance on Bunnie Xo\u2019s podcast Dumb Blonde<\/a><\/em>, and slammed her father\u2019s comments about the drag queens at the Olympics, how he sent her to fat camp when she was little and more. <\/p>\n \u201cIf I would ever spend a summer with my dad, it would be on a movie set. I would just get lost in the shuffle,\u201d she shared. \u201cIf I ever messed up a shot, if I ever was talking, I would get in fu\u2013ing trouble.\u201d<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Elle <\/strong>noted how she and her father didn\u2019t really connect until she was much older. <\/p>\n \u201cI was like a really, really heavy child. My dad sent me to fat camp\u2026and then I got in trouble one year because I sprained my ankle and I didn\u2019t lose any weight,\u201d she said. \u201cI had already started getting tattooed and it was like 108 degrees. So I had to wear sweaters because my dad was very anti-tattoos or any form of self-expression that differed from what he wanted.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI disagree with a lot of the things that he says,\u201d Elle <\/strong>added. \u201cYou\u2019re talking out of your ass and you\u2019re talking sh-t about drag and, you know, anti-gay rights. And it\u2019s like, get f\u2013ked. He\u2019s just talking out of his ass, and I want to use this opportunity to say, I disagree! I do not agree with what he says!\u201d<\/p>\n Recently, Rob<\/strong> was one of the many who was upset about the drag queens performing<\/a> in the Olympics opening ceremony. <\/p>\n \u201cI am sorry to say to all the world\u2019s greatest athletes, I wish you all the best, but I cannot watch an Olympics that disrespects Christianity and openly celebrates Satan,\u201d he wrote on X<\/a>. \u201cI sincerely hope these Olympics get the same amount of viewers as CSPAN.\u201d<\/p>\n During the podcast interview, Elle<\/strong> was asked if she ever got help from her dad, presumably in the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n \u201cHe never helped me. I also never wanted his help,\u201d she said. \u201cHe also didn\u2019t have a very good reputation. I don\u2019t want to be associated with him\u2026 He\u2019s just not nice. You can want someone to change so much. You can\u2019t control anyone else\u2019s actions and you can\u2019t control people\u2019s feelings.
