Yellowstone<\/em> fans are confused about Kevin Costner<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s fate on the Paramount Network \u2014 and so are his costars.<\/p>\n What the \u2018Yellowstone\u2019 Cast Has Said About Delays\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI honestly have no answers. I don\u2019t even know what\u2019s going on and I just stay in my own lane,\u201d Mo Brings Plenty<\/strong> exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> while attending PaleyFest in L.A. on Saturday, April 1. \u201cI have a great deal of respect for Kevin and who he is and what he does and everyone else. And so I just mind my own business.\u201d<\/p>\n Plenty, 53, who plays \u201cMo\u201d on the series, was one of four actors who stepped in last-minute when the lead cast, Costner and creator Taylor Sheridan<\/strong> skipped the event<\/a> on Saturday. Press was notified via a changed tip sheet about 30 minutes before the red carpet began and audiences weren\u2019t notified until they took their seats inside the Dolby Theater at the panel.<\/p>\n \u2018Yellowstone\u2019 Season 5: Everything to Know<\/a><\/p>\n Plenty was joined by Josh Lucas<\/strong><\/a>, Wendy Moniz<\/strong> and Dawn Olivieri<\/strong>. Costner, 68, and Sheridan, 52, were initially set to appear alongside Kelly Reilly<\/strong>, Cole Hauser<\/strong>, Luke Grimes<\/strong>,<\/a> Kelsey Asbille<\/strong>, Wes Bentley<\/strong><\/a>, Gil Birmingham<\/strong>, Jacki Weaver<\/strong><\/a> and executive producer David Glasser<\/strong>. Paramount Network later said that their absences were due to \u201cscheduling conflicts.\u201d<\/p>\n Moniz, 54, has also been kept in the dark. \u201cI don\u2019t know. I have no news to report about it. We\u2019re all just, you know, finding out what everyone else is finding out as it\u2019s going,\u201d she told Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m excited to get back to work,\u201d she added, noting that Costner is \u201cvery collaborative, really professional. And just a pleasure.\u201d<\/p>\n Part 2 of season 5 will be released in the summer. The cast confirmed to Us<\/em> on Saturday night, however, that they\u2019ve yet to return to set to film the episodes.<\/p>\n \u2018Yellowstone\u2019 Cast\u2019s Prior Roles<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cWe haven\u2019t started, no. We know he is writing and we\u2019re looking forward to getting back,\u201d Moniz told Us<\/em>. \u201cI\u2019m along for this ride for as long as it goes. That\u2019s what I can tell you. It\u2019s just been a dream job.\u201d<\/p>\n Plenty added: \u201cHonestly, it\u2019s Taylor Sheridan. So be prepared for something exciting and a wild ride.\u201d<\/p>\n Yellowstone\u2019s Offscreen Drama\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n Costner has led Yellowstone<\/em> as patriarch John Dutton since its 2018 debut. Rumors about his future on the series surfaced in February when Deadline<\/em> reported that the network is exploring the possibility of ending the show because of shooting schedule disagreements with the actor. The franchise would also reportedly move forward with a spinoff series starring Matthew McConaughey<\/strong><\/a>. They denied the report at the time, but it was announced on Friday, March 31, that the McConaughey, 53, show would be moving forward.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know,\u201d Olivieri told Us<\/em> of the speculation. \u201cI hope in my heart I get to work with [Costner] before whatever happens, happens. I don\u2019t know what\u2019s gonna happen. We don\u2019t know. But I do hope I get at least one moment to be opposite that great legend of a man.\u201d (Newcomer Olivieri mainly works opposite Bentley, 44, on the show.)<\/p>\n Lucas<\/strong>, 51, (who plays young John Dutton), meanwhile, kept tight-lipped about the supposed fallout.<\/p>\n \u201cMy biggest takeaway is that he has found such power in doing what he\u2019s doing,\u201d he told Us<\/em> of Costner. \u201cTaylor has become and Kevin has become John Dutton and John Dutton is as filled with Taylor Sheridan as it is with Kevin Costner.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n![\"Kevin](\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Kevin-Costners-Yellowstone-Costars-Dont-Have-Answers-to-Exit-Rumors-Finding-Out-What-Everyone-Else-Is-Finding-Out-733-741.jpg?w=700&quality=86&strip=all\")
