\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n It turns out that we actually did miss out on a lot from Glee<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n The mega-popular musical series debuted on 15 years ago, introducing us to the New Directions \u2013 a group of plucky underdogs who won hearts with their musical abilities and tight bond. <\/p>\n However, the lineup of the show choir could have looked very different. In the years since Glee <\/em>debuted, we\u2019ve learned that a slew of actors auditioned for the show and didn\u2019t get cast.<\/p>\n Some cast members even auditioned for different parts before they were placed in the perfect role. <\/p>\n For instance, many actors who eventually joined the show did so after auditioning to play football star turned choir champion Finn Hudson, a role that ultimately went to Cory Monteith<\/strong><\/a>. Several popular actresses also auditioned to play the big-voiced Rachel Berry before Lea Michele<\/strong><\/a> was cast. <\/p>\n You won\u2019t believe which actress was in the running to play Sue Sylvester, the lead antagonist, either!<\/p>\n We did some digging and rounded up all of the stars who auditioned for the show.
