Yung Miami<\/strong> has broken her silence about the sexual assault allegations against her ex, Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The rapper, 30, whose real name is Caresha Brownlee, touched on the legal woes surrounding the disgraced music mogul, 54, on the Thursday, August 8, episode of her Revolt podcast, \u201cCaresha Please.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Over the past year, Diddy has faced civil lawsuits from multiple women<\/a> involving sexual abuse allegations, including from his ex, Cassie<\/strong> (real name Casandra Ventura), whom he dated on and off from 2007 to 2018. Diddy has vehemently denied all claims against him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t speak on something that wasn\u2019t my experience, I can\u2019t speak on something I don\u2019t know,\u201d Yung Miami told her friend Saucy Santana<\/strong> on the podcast. \u201cI can\u2019t speak on these allegations because I wasn\u2019t around at the time. I don\u2019t know that person and that wasn\u2019t my experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSome companies appear to be distancing themselves from Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs as the rapper continues to face sexual assault allegations. In recent months, multiple women have come forward to share allegations of misconduct by the music mogul. One individual who filed a lawsuit was his ex-girlfriend Cassie. (The exes dated on and off from 2007 [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Yung Miami went on to add that she felt as though she was \u201ccrucified\u201d after the allegations against Diddy, who she was first linked to in 2021, emerged.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople feel like I was Diddy\u2019s biggest cheerleader and I made him my brand. And I feel like Diddy was on brand for me,\u201d she said. \u201cI met him when he was in another era. I met Diddy when the world was celebrating him and giving him his flowers when he was alive.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clarifying that she and Diddy are no longer together, which she previously confirmed<\/a> in an April 2023 interview with The Cut,<\/i> Yung Miami shared the toll the situation has taken on her mental health.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen all these things came out, I just needed to take a break and focus on what\u2019s important, which is me and my career and my family,\u201d she said. \u201c[I needed to] let him navigate and figure that out on his own because I can\u2019t be caught up in that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Diddy was sued in November 2023 by ex-girlfriend Cassie, who alleged that the rapper raped and physically abused her multiple times over a 10-year period. Diddy vehemently denied all allegations before settling the lawsuit out of court. Cassie\u2019s lawsuit inspired multiple other individuals to come forward with similar accusations against Diddy, all of which the rapper has denied.<\/p>\n

In May, CNN obtained 2016 footage of Diddy grabbing Cassie<\/a>, now 37, by her neck and kicking her repeatedly. He apologized for his actions in a video statement at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, sometimes you gotta do that,\u201d he said in an Instagram video, which has since been removed from his page. \u201cI was f\u2014ked up. I mean, I hit rock bottom but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I\u2019m disgusted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Diddy continued, \u201cI went and sought out professional help. I\u2019ve been going to therapy, going to rehab. Had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I\u2019m so sorry, but I\u2019m committed to being a better man each and every day. I\u2019m not asking for forgiveness. I\u2019m truly sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n
