Christina Applegate<\/a>‘s all about her reality TV. She loves it. Check that, she’s obsessed!<\/span><\/p>\n The 52-year-old actress divulged the tidbit during her recent appearance on James Corden’s <\/span>This Life of Mine<\/em><\/a>\u00a0show on SiriusXM. The <\/span>Married …with Children<\/span><\/em>\u00a0star was initially asked if music is helping her cope with\u00a0<\/span>her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis<\/a>, and the actress emphatically shut that down.<\/span><\/p>\n “No, I find reality television very useful. Yeah, that’s kind of it for me,” she said.<\/span><\/p>\n Corden responded asking, “That’s it?”<\/span><\/p>\n Yes, that’s it!<\/span><\/p>\n “Anyone who knows me well knows that it’s on 24\/7 in my room, ’cause I don’t leave my room very often. I know that that sounds really depressing but it’s kind of, like, I just need to sleep sometimes,” she continued. “Yeah, reality TV. Everything. Give me any of it.”<\/span><\/p>\n And Applegate has a healthy appetite for reality TV.<\/span><\/p>\n “Give me a <\/span>Vanderpump<\/span><\/em>. Give me a <\/span>Below Deck<\/span><\/em>. Give me a <\/span>Housewife<\/span><\/em>,” she said. “Even give me <\/span>Kitchen Nightmares<\/span><\/em> with Gordon Ramsay. I’ll watch like nine seasons of that in like two days.”<\/span><\/p>\n She’s just like us!<\/span><\/p>\n As for why, well, Applegate (like the rest of us) enjoys seeing the different sides to everyone.<\/span><\/p>\n “I love watching the imperfections of real people. Really, like, wow, those people exist. I love that,” she said. “That’s why I love reality TV. Because they freak me out that they walk this Earth acting like that.”<\/span><\/p>\n By the way, it’s no secret Applegate loves her some <\/span>Below Deck<\/span><\/em>. She shared as much during <\/span>a December 2022 appearance<\/a> on <\/span>The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/span><\/em>, where Clarkson surprised her with a special message from the one and only Captain Lee Rosbach.<\/span><\/p>\n “I just want to say thank you for being such a big fan. and I want to encourage you to stay strong and remember that a good sailor never learned a damn thing in calm seas,” he told her in a recorded message in part. “So I know you’re gonna navigate these waters just fine. And if you decide you wanna set sail again, you just let me know, ’cause we have a deck chair with your name written all over it.”<\/span><\/p>\n
