\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Days of Our Lives<\/strong><\/a><\/em> only continues to surprise!<\/p>\n In this week on the hit soap opera<\/strong><\/a> series, it was revealed that Connie \u2013 played by Julie Dove \u2013 was interacting with not an imaginary version of Li (played by Remington Hoffman<\/strong><\/a>), but a cardboard cutout!<\/p>\n \u201cThat was a shock, when I got that script,\u201d admitted Julie Dove<\/strong> to Soaps.com<\/a>. \u201cI was like, \u2018Oh my God!\u2019 I mean, I was acting with a cardboard cutout! He\u2019s not just standing there, I\u2019m talking to him! So that was a first for me as an actor.\u201d<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI played it as if Remington [Hoffman]<\/strong> was there,\u201d she continued, referring to her acting as \u201cConnielogues,\u201d which \u201ctook a lot of time, as if Remington<\/strong> was talking back to me and reacting. That\u2019s just kind of how you\u2019re trained to do a monologue, is you\u2019ve got to be listening to the other person, even though they\u2019re not there.\u201d<\/p>\n Up until this week, the scenes in which Connie talked to Li \u2014 whom she murdered \u2014 featured Remington<\/strong> actually talking back. But Julie<\/strong> says that this latest reveal \u201cis a great progression of her deteriorating mental state.\u201d<\/p>\n As for how she reacted to the cutout in a script, she said: \u201cIt was a great reveal.
