It\u2019s tomato season, which means we are locked and loaded to maximize nightshade intake (this year we\u2019re doing a <a href=\"https:\/\/food52.com\/blog\/28467-tomato-thon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tomato-thon<\/a>; don\u2019t miss the <a href=\"https:\/\/food52.com\/recipes\/86318-best-fried-tomato-sandwich-recipe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fried tomato sandwiches<\/a>. But it\u2019s also the beginning of our holiday freight train. C\u00e9sar did a really cool thing with a <a href=\"https:\/\/food52.com\/recipes\/90303-triple-burnt-corn-basque-cheesecake\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Triple-Burnt Corn Basque cheesecake<\/a> by infusing the cream with charred corn kernels. And Nea paired a peach-and-charred-corn salsa with <a href=\"https:\/\/food52.com\/recipes\/90300-shrimp-tacos-with-charred-corn--peach-salsa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shrimp tacos<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Baking Queen Dorie Greenspan and farmer-turned-chef Abra Berens will be answering member questions for our upcoming Cookbook Club AMAs.
