It turned out to be a misunderstanding, but in the days that followed, Nicki became extra vocal on her social media. <\/p>\n<p>On June 10, the rapper addressed the camera via Twitter  to talk about a bunch of stuff. while wearing a silk turban and a night gown.<\/p>\n<p>First, she delved at the time into giving birth to her son back in 2020. \u201cOne day, they\u2019re yelling \u2018push\u2019 and you\u2019re in pain. Then one day, comes out a beautiful baby boy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Then, Minaj grew a little bit quiet, whispering into the camera: \u201cThank God your glory. Congratulations to him and my ma up there, you\u2019re doing a great job. In case no one\u2019s told you that, you\u2019re doing a great job.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is a very nice sentiment, of course. On its own, it seems that Minaj is just sharing how grateful she is to have the life she has, the son she always wanted, and the love of her mother from the great beyond. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">i honestly hope she\u2019s okay. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/WeLoveYouNicki?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#WeLoveYouNicki<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/iMyqX77fLB\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/iMyqX77fLB<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Fendi Minaj ???? In the video, which was shared hours after a new slew of divorce rumors began to circulate on social media, Grammy winner shared a cryptic post that simply read: <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes single.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-is-nicki-minaj-single-not-yet\">Is Nicki Minaj Single?! Why would a person do that? Who would you speak about in your interviews if someone wanted to interview you? Yourself, right?\u201d\u00a0she asked.<\/p>\n<p>Nicki then indicated that her comments were about a relative.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think y\u2019all think talent like, you could catch it like a cold. Or maybe people could pass it through the genes. Even with blood relation, what God has given to me is mine,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have to go and get your own. You have to discover whatever it is that you\u2019re great at. Being a mooch and a clown don\u2019t run in my DNA.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That last sentence is what did her in. The idea of her sister, who has her own career, was leeching off Nicki\u2019s talent didn\u2019t sit well with fans who feel Petty is doing far worse. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow is that divorce going?\u201d asked one fan on <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Iamangelbarb\/status\/1821103692772163821\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">X<\/a>, while another critic <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DamnNicky_\/status\/1820768286084046994\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>,\u201d your fav still married to a mooch and a clown.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s just it \u2013 for now, Nicki is still married to Petty.  But will it last?
