Gisele B\u00fcndchen<\/a> and <\/span>Joaquim Valente<\/a>\u00a0are going strong. A source tells ET that the couple — who was <\/span>first romantically linked<\/a> in February — has been “getting more serious” in recent weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n “Her friends could see this being a lasting relationship,” the source says of the 44-year-old model, who <\/span>split<\/a> from\u00a0<\/span>Tom Brady<\/a>\u00a0in October 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n As for how her ex — with whom she shares Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11 — feels about the romance, the source says that “Tom just wants things to be cordial and respectful between him and Joaquim.”<\/span><\/p>\n “He’s enjoying his own life and dating around,” the source adds of the 47-year-old retired NFL star.<\/span><\/p>\n A separate source <\/span>told ET<\/a> in February that\u00a0B\u00fcndchen and Valente’s relationship had turned romantic.<\/span><\/p>\n “Gisele trusts Joaquim because they had a solid foundation before things turned romantic,” the source said of the mom of two and her former jiu-jitsu instructor. “He has been there for her as she transitions through this new phase of life post-divorce and it\u2019s been a really nice change for her.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The source noted that B\u00fcndchen and Valente “have a lot of fun together,” adding that they “connect on a deep level and are both into wellness, being active, and traveling.”<\/span><\/p>\n B\u00fcndchen went on to <\/span>deny that she cheated on Brady<\/a> with Valente. Shortly thereafter,\u00a0<\/span>B\u00fcndchen was less than amused<\/a> by the jokes that were made about her new relationship during <\/span>Brady’s Netflix roast<\/a>\u00a0in May.<\/span><\/p>\n “Gisele was upset and hurt by some of the jokes about her, her relationship with [boyfriend] Joaquim [Valente], and her marriage to Tom during his roast,” a source told ET at the time. “Her main concern is always her children and family and she wants to protect them. She found some of the jokes to be distasteful and disrespectful.”<\/span><\/p>\n In the wake of those emotions, <\/span>a source told ET<\/a> that “Joaquim has been there for Gisele and they have a nice, supportive relationship.”<\/span><\/p>\n “Gisele is still taking things one day at a time and is protective of herself and her well-being, and more importantly, her kids’ well-being,” the source said. “She is trying to be thoughtful when navigating next steps and is continuing to appreciate the loving relationship in front of her.”<\/span><\/p>\n The duo <\/span>was then spotted<\/a> displaying PDA in June, which marked their first sighting in months.<\/span><\/p>\n
