Florence Pugh<\/strong><\/a> and Andrew Garfield<\/strong> <\/a>were spotted getting cozy \u2014 in character! \u2014 while in London filming We Live in Time<\/em>.<\/p>\n Though the plot of the upcoming romantic movie is tightly under wraps, the set photos of the Amazing Spider-Man<\/em><\/a> star, 39, and the Don\u2019t Worry Darling<\/em> actress, 27, gave fans a tiny glimpse into the story line. The actors, who were spotted filming in a park and in front of a store in England\u2019s capital on Monday, April 3, chatted and smiled while strolling in stride on the greenery and sidewalk.<\/p>\n The movie, directed by John Crowley<\/strong> (Brooklyn<\/em>), is described as a \u201cfunny, deeply moving and immersive love story,\u201d Variety<\/em><\/a> reported in March. Nick Payne<\/strong> (The Last Letter From Your Lover<\/em>) wrote the script.<\/p>\n The snaps, which are the first photos from the film, come weeks after Pugh confirmed that she and Garfield were working on a movie together.<\/p>\n After the British stars made headlines for presenting the 2023 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and Best Adapted Screenplay at the Oscars<\/a> on March 14, the Midsommar<\/em> actress responded to the fan frenzy by revealing that she and Garfield \u2014 who have never worked alongside each other on screen \u2014 are finally joining forces.<\/p>\n \u201cYou know what\u2019s crazy is that \u2026 they didn\u2019t know we were doing a movie together,\u201d Pugh told Jimmy Fallon<\/strong><\/a> one week after the awards show, reflecting on the producers\u2019 decision to have her and the Tick, Tick \u2026 Boom!<\/em>\u00a0actor present together. \u201cWell, I don\u2019t think they did,\u201d she clarified. \u201cBut this was, I think, a bit of an accident. Which is even weirder!\u201d<\/p>\n While the duo\u2019s romance is only on camera for now, both actors recently got out of serious relationships. Garfield and Alyssa Miller<\/strong><\/a> split in June 2022 after less than a year of dating, Us Weekly<\/a> c<\/em>onfirmed at the time. \u201cThe distance and filming had a big impact on the breakup,\u201d a source told Us<\/em> about the Under the Banner of Heaven<\/em> alum \u2014 who also dated Spider-Man<\/em> costar Emma Stone<\/strong><\/a> from 2011 to 2015 \u2014 and the 33-year-old model.<\/p>\n Pugh, for her part, split from long-term boyfriend Zach Braff<\/strong> <\/a>one month later.
