Neither has Benny Blanco.<\/p>\n<p>You can find plenty of sweet moments on Selena\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C91GWhDRIkt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram<\/a>. But a cuddle session is not typically a proposal.<\/p>\n<p>However, a blind item that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/deuxmoi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Deux Moi<\/a> shared seems to strongly suggest that Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are now engaged.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-reddit wp-block-embed-reddit\"\/>\n<p>\u201cThis A-list actress\/semi-retired singer got engaged over the weekend to her bf of a year recently surrounded by friends at their usual beach house hang out,\u201d the blind item reads.<\/p>\n<p>Selena is an A-list actress. She is up for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/07\/selena-gomez-emmy-nomination-history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">an Emmy Award<\/a> for her starring role on <em>Only Murders In The Building<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>She is also, sadly, semi-retired from singing. Selena is one of the greatest musicians in human history (\u201cNaturally\u201d alone is a triumph of art). As we have previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/03\/hailey-bieber-marriage-rumors-tiktok\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported in detail<\/a>, some blind items warn about very serious matters \u2014 like Louis CK\u2019s sexual misconduct \u2014 years before they become public knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>However, some blind items are too vague to specify someone in particular. She\u2019s seemed to come into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2023\/12\/selena-gomez-and-benny-blanco-dating-shes-willing-to-fight-fans-over-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">conflict with fans<\/a> over Benny Blanco, specifically.<\/p>\n<p>Selenators may be hesitant to endorse this romance because they don\u2019t really \u201cknow\u201d Benny Blanco. (Okay, one never really \u201cknows\u201d celebrities unless you\u2019re friends in real life \u2014 but they don\u2019t <em>feel <\/em>like they know him)<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s possible that Selena is sort of sabotaging herself by keeping most of this romance so private. But also? She doesn\u2019t actually need to worry about fan assumptions.
