\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Rob Lowe<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about the future of his Fox drama 9-1-1: Lone Star<\/strong><\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n The 60-year-old actor not only stars in the series, but also serves as an executive producer.<\/p>\n After some delays, the fifth season is set to debut in the Fall 2024<\/a>, but earlier this summer, it was said this will likely be the last season<\/a>. <\/p>\n Now, Rob<\/strong> shares his thoughts on the future of the show. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe all went into it pretty much knowing that it was going to be the last season, so that affected everything we did,\u201d he told Variety<\/a><\/em>. \u201cWe wanted to really show everybody what is still possible in network television if people have the appetite to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt feels like it\u2019s probably the end of an era of a certain type \u2014 well, it doesn\u2019t feel like it. It is the end of an era of a certain type of show we once had an opportunity to make, and I think they\u2019re great,\u201d Rob <\/strong>continued. \u201cWe wanted to go out making our case for the value of shows like that, and I think we did a really good job. The stories that we were able to tell on a weekly basis in terms of the scope and scale \u2014 that\u2019s probably the thing I\u2019m the most proud of.
