Zac Efron<\/a>\u00a0was involved in a “minor swimming incident” that landed him in the hospital in Spain.<\/span><\/p>\n Efron’s rep told\u00a0<\/span>TMZ<\/a>\u00a0that the 36-year-old actor was taken to the hospital in Ibiza as a precautionary measure following a “minor swimming incident” at a villa on Friday night. The rep went on to tell the outlet that Efron was ultimately discharged from the hospital Saturday morning and he’s recovering just fine.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The outlet, citing a source, later updated its reporting to note that Efron was found inside the swimming pool by two people working at the villa and pulled him out of the water.<\/span><\/p>\n ET has reached out to Efron’s rep for comment.<\/span><\/p>\n Efron’s been busy traveling Europe as of late. His last Instagram post came earlier this week when <\/span>he posted a carousel post<\/a> paying homage to Simone Biles’ success at the Paris Olympics. His latest film, <\/span>A Family Affair<\/span><\/em> and starring Nicole Kidman and Joey King, dropped in June on Netflix. He had done tons of press for the romcom, and he was equally busy promoting <\/span>The Iron Claw<\/span><\/em> all of last year.<\/span><\/p>\n While promoting\u00a0<\/span>The Greatest Beer Run Ever<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in 2022, Efron <\/span>told ET<\/a> at the Toronto International Film Festival that he “almost died” <\/span>after shattering his jaw<\/a> in 2013. He also sustained a gash in the fall that required stitches. Following the incident, rumors began to spread that he altered his face with surgery.<\/span><\/p>\n “My mom told me.\u00a0I don’t\u00a0really read the internet, so, I don\u2019t really give a f**k,” Efron said about rumors that he altered his face with surgery.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “It was funny,” he added. “It sucks.
