Jason Kelce<\/strong><\/a> can\u2019t stop wearing his new favorite item of clothing \u2014 a traditional French beret he picked up in Paris during the Olympics.<\/p>\n

The sports star, 36, has been spotted multiple times donning the distinctive headwear while enjoying the Paris Olympics in France, and opted to wear it again after returning to the U.S. to kick off his new TV gig.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m still on Paris time, so I had to go with the Paris headdress,\u201d Kelce explained during his appearance on ESPN\u2019s NFL Countdown <\/i>on Thursday, August 1.<\/p>\n

Kelce\u2019s \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast posted a photo of him via X<\/a> and poked fun at his hat choice.<\/p>\n

Kelly Clarkson covered the opening ceremony for NBC along with Mike Tirico and Peyton Manning on July 26, which included performances from stars such as Lady Gaga and C\u00e9line Dion. The retired Philadelphia Eagles player was first snapped wearing the beret<\/a> when he and wife Kylie Kelce<\/strong> attended the U.S. women\u2019s field hockey game against Argentina on Saturday, July 27.<\/p>\n

Questioned by the Associated Press about where he found the hat, Kelce revealed he bought it at \u201ca souvenir shop.\u201d<\/p>\n

A day later, Kelce wore the hat in a wholesome video<\/a> shared via TikTok which featured Team USA women\u2019s rugby star, Ilona Maher<\/strong>, persuading the ex-NFL player to become her team\u2019s hype man.<\/p>\n

\u201cWomen\u2019s water polo has Flavor Flav<\/strong> as their superfan,\u201d Maher, 27, told Kelce before insisting he should throw his support behind the rugby team because \u201cyou are a girl dad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelce described Maher as \u201ca great salesman\u201d before declaring, \u201cI am officially a fan of women\u2019s rugby, Olympics!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe emotional support beret is taking the place of his emotional support flipflops,\u201d one follower wrote via X, referring to another clothing item favored by Kelce.<\/a><\/p>\n

Kelce has regularly been seen wearing his beloved flip-flops to multiple events, including red carpets, and incorporating them into pregame outfits.<\/p>\n

He even went viral in November 2023 for choosing the open-toed shoes in winter and defended himself on an episode of \u201cNew Heights,\u201d which he hosts with brother Travis<\/strong>, 34.<\/p>\n
