Simone Biles<\/strong><\/a> has revealed the very fitting \u201cofficial\u201d name for Team USA\u2019s women\u2019s gymnastics team.<\/p>\n

Following the team taking gold<\/a> at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics<\/a>\u2019 gymnastics team competition on Tuesday, July 30, the quintet \u2014 composed of Biles, 27, Jordan Chiles<\/strong>, Suni Lee<\/strong>, Hezly Rivera<\/strong> and Jade Carey<\/strong> \u2014 joked about their official name during a post-event press conference.<\/p>\n

It led to Biles taking to social media later that evening for an official reveal.<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay on the real though, the official team name is \u2728golden girls\u2728 (because oldest olympic team),\u201d the Olympic champion wrote via X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAs Team USA takes on the 2024 Paris Olympics, the American athletes have already made an impression at the summer Games. The 2024 Olympics kicked off on Friday, July 26, with an illustrious opening ceremony that took place entirely outdoors on the River Seine and featured performances from the likes of Celine Dion and Lady [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While the post referenced the day\u2019s incredible Team USA result, it also referred to the iconic NBC sitcom, The Golden Girls<\/em>, which ran from 1985 to 1992. The series starred Betty White<\/strong> as Rose Nylund, Bea Arthur<\/strong> as Dorothy Zbornak, Rue McClanahan<\/strong> as Blanche Devereaux and Estelle Getty<\/strong> as Sophia Petrillo.<\/p>\n

Prior to Biles\u2019 confirmation, Tuesday\u2019s press conference unearthed an alternative team name as the gold medallists were quizzed by retired Olympian, Aly Raisman<\/strong>, on an official moniker.<\/p>\n

After a few moments, Biles remarked, \u201cI\u2019m not gonna say it.\u201d Chiles, 23, then urged Biles to \u201cabbreviate\u201d the X-rated name, which Biles eventually confirmed as \u201cF\u2014k Around and Find Out.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cofficial\u201d team name reveal came after Biles made a seemingly subtle swipe<\/a> at MyKayla Skinner<\/strong> via Instagram<\/a> earlier Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n

\u201cLack of talent, lazy, olympic champions,\u201d Biles captioned a photo of herself holding up an American flag alongside her teammates.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe 2024 Summer Olympics might be taking place in the City of Light, but that doesn\u2019t mean they haven\u2019t come with their fair share of darkness.\u00a0 Following a flashy opening ceremony on Friday, July 26 that continues to draw outrage from some celebrities and religious figures, the Games have been plagued by allegations of sexism [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Eagle-eyed fans drew comparisons from Biles\u2019 caption to 27-year-old Skinner\u2019s remarks<\/a> earlier this month when she criticized the 2024 gymnasts for not having the same \u201cwork ethic\u201d as those of Team USA past. Skinner claimed during a July YouTube video that the current group of women \u201cdon\u2019t work as hard\u201d or have the \u201ctalent or depth\u201d of those who came before them.<\/p>\n

Biles and Skinner have a long history together, as they were both members of Team USA at the 2016 and 2020 Olympics.<\/p>\n
