Armie Hammer<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s mom Dru Hammer<\/strong><\/a> has waited to publicly comment on the allegations against him, until now.<\/p>\n Dru<\/strong> just released her new book Hammered <\/em>and she addressed the sexual assault and inappropriate conduct allegations that were made against Armie <\/strong>in recent years. <\/p>\n In the comments, Dru<\/strong> explains why she waited so long to speak out and she also addressed the allegations.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAll of this unfolded at the beginning of covid when people were locked away in their homes,\u201d she said in the book (via E! News<\/a>). \u201cThe feeding frenzy for new information was at an all-time high. It was the perfect storm. Every day, more and more articles were published. Yet, Armie <\/strong>stayed silent. At the time, he had decided not to talk to anyone for the sake of his family.\u201d <\/p>\n She continued, \u201cThe protective mother wanted to call him and say, \u2018Let me loose. I saw what puppy dogs these women were with you. How could this be happening?\u2019 Instead, I also decided to stay quiet. It wasn\u2019t appropriate for me to defend Armie <\/strong>even though I fought the urge with ever cell in my body. I prayed and mourned for my son and all involved. I prayed some more.\u201d<\/p>\n Dru<\/strong> commented on what Armie <\/strong>was accused of doing.<\/p>\n \u201cArmie<\/strong> made some bad personal choices that damaged his reputation and were hurtful to women,\u201d she said. \u201cNone of his choices were crimes. In fact, after an extensive look into what happened by the Los Angeles Police Department, all of the allegations were dismissed. Armie <\/strong>was cleared of all legal wrongdoing, but his moral wrongdoing was a different matter. The lingering effects of cancel culture endured, along with some broken hearts.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMuch to his demise, Armie <\/strong>began exchanging messages with several women. The texting led to infidelities. The three women connected and banded together to go after Armie<\/strong> to destroy him in the press. One of the women charged him with sexual assault and rape,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n Dru<\/strong> talked about meeting some of Armie<\/strong>\u2018s accusers.<\/p>\n \u201cI met two of the three young women who came against Armie<\/strong>,\u201d she said. \u201cThey were both beautiful and wanted way more than Armie<\/strong> was capable of giving them at the time. They were looking at Armie <\/strong>as Mr. Right. Armie<\/strong> was looking at them as Ms. Right Now. As a mother, my heart was broken for all involved.
