At one point during the performance, a collection of drag queens posed alongside a long table. Her interpretation \u2013 as was the view of many others, to be fair \u2013 was that it was a live-action riff Leonardo Da Vinci\u2019s <em>The Last Supper<\/em>, a painting that depicts the final dinner of Christianity\u2019s central figure<\/p>\n<p>These performances almost always feature costumes and more. In this case, it included everything from Marie Antoinette (headless, of course) to French <em>Drag Race<\/em> stars and more. However, allegedly at the request of her followers, Candace Cameron Bure reposted her Olympics rant to her page.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou asked me to make this shareable on story, so here it is,\u201d the actor wrote in the caption. \u201cMy take on the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince posting, many have tried to correct me saying it wasn\u2019t about an interpretation of DaVinci\u2019s The Last Supper,\u201d she noted. (That and, of course, her implication that portraying anyone else\u2019s religion is not family-friendly.)<\/p>\n<p>None of this is new. Candace Cameron Bure has repeatedly expressed the belief that she, a wealthy celebrity with numerous public platforms, experiences oppression <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2023\/02\/candace-cameron-bure-cancel-culture-is-real-im-a-target-because-im-a-christian\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">because she is a Christian<\/a>. Roughly two-thirds of the United States is Christian. Cameron Bure\u2019s own God is mentioned on US currency and in courthouses.<\/p>\n<p>Millions of Christians watched the Olympics Opening Ceremony without issue. Candace Cameron Bure may accuse them of being \u201clukewarm\u201d in their faith.
